Trouble never comes to a Christian unless it brings a nugget of gold in its hand!
Trouble never arrives empty-handed for the Christian. Scripture teaches that every trial is permitted by a Father who wastes nothing, and that hidden inside the hardship is a nugget of gold He intends to place in the believer’s hand.
The Living Bible puts the promise plainly: “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans” (Romans 8:28).
The gold is not always comfort, money, or quick relief. Often it is a clearer view of Christ, a faith that has been tested and found real, a heart stripped of self-reliance, or a testimony that can comfort someone else later. Paul learned this in prison and shipwreck. He wrote that his troubles produced endurance, and endurance produced a hope that does not disappoint, because God’s love had been poured into his heart (Romans 5:3–5, TLB). The chains looked like loss. The gold was a gospel that reached Caesar’s household and letters that still strengthen the church.
James tells believers to welcome trouble as a friend, because the testing of faith develops the strength to endure, and endurance makes us mature and complete (James 1:2–4, TLB).
Peter adds that trials come so that genuine faith, more precious than gold refined by fire, may result in praise when Jesus appears (1 Peter 1:6–7). The furnace is not the enemy. The furnace is the refiner’s tool. What burns away is dross: pride, fear of man, love of ease. What remains is gold that can stand in the light of the Judgment Seat.
Joseph’s pit and prison looked like the end of the dream. Years later he could say to the brothers who sold him, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20). The nugget was a saved nation and a reconciled family.
Job lost almost everything, then received a deeper knowledge of God than he had in prosperity: “I had heard about you before, but now I have seen you” (Job 42:5, TLB). Sight of God is better gold than restored flocks.
This does not mean Christians pretend pain is pleasant. Jesus wept. Paul begged for the thorn to leave. The promise is not that trouble feels golden on the day it arrives. The promise is that the sovereign hand that allows it also fills it. No tear is wasted. No sleepless night is pointless. No hospital corridor, empty chair, or closed door comes to a child of God unless the Father has already placed something of eternal worth inside it.
So the believer does not hunt for trouble, and does not despise it when it comes. He opens his hand. He asks, “Lord, what gold did You send with this?” Then he waits, trusts, and receives.
The trouble passes.
The nugget remains.
AMEN

Let us Praise Him Daily!
A good way to learn to Praise God is to memorize the first 6 Verses of Psalms 148:
1 Praise the Lord, O heavens! Praise Him from the skies!
2 Praise Him, all His angels, all the armies of heaven.
3 Praise Him, sun and moon and all you twinkling stars.
4 Praise Him, skies above. Praise Him, vapors high above the clouds.
5 Let everything He has made give praise to Him. For He issued His command, and they came into being;
6 He established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked.
PLEASE read the last 6 Chapters of Psalms: 145-150 so that you will learn how to Praise God like David did!
If you don’t want to get your Bible, Here they all are, just click on each Chapter and I will read them to you:

Chapter 05 in Proverbs for today: (OCTOBER 5 (MT) (ESV)
-
5 My son, be attentive to my wisdom;
incline your ear to my understanding,
2 that you may keep discretion,
and your lips may guard knowledge.
3 For the lips of a forbidden[a] woman drip honey,
and her speech[b] is smoother than oil,
4 but in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
sharp as a two-edged sword.
5 Her feet go down to death;
her steps follow the path to[c] Sheol;
6 she does not ponder the path of life;
her ways wander, and she does not know it.7 And now, O sons, listen to me,
and do not depart from the words of my mouth.
8 Keep your way far from her,
and do not go near the door of her house,
9 lest you give your honor to others
and your years to the merciless,
10 lest strangers take their fill of your strength,
and your labors go to the house of a foreigner,
11 and at the end of your life you groan,
when your flesh and body are consumed,
12 and you say, “How I hated discipline,
and my heart despised reproof!
13 I did not listen to the voice of my teachers
or incline my ear to my instructors.
14 I am at the brink of utter ruin
in the assembled congregation.”15 Drink water from your own cistern,
flowing water from your own well.
16 Should your springs be scattered abroad,
streams of water in the streets?
17 Let them be for yourself alone,
and not for strangers with you.
18 Let your fountain be blessed,
and rejoice in the wife of your youth,
19 a lovely deer, a graceful doe.
Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight;
be intoxicated[d] always in her love.
20 Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman
and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?[e]
21 For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord,
and he ponders[f] all his paths.
22 The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him,
and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.
23 He dies for lack of discipline,
and because of his great folly he is led astray.- Proverbs 5:3 Hebrew strange; also verse 20

CHAPTER 6 LAMENTATIONS for today: (OCTOBER 5 (L) (ESV)
look, and see our disgrace!
2 Our inheritance has been turned over to strangers,
our homes to foreigners.
3 We have become orphans, fatherless;
our mothers are like widows.
4 We must pay for the water we drink;
the wood we get must be bought.
5 Our pursuers are at our necks;
we are weary; we are given no rest.
6 We have given the hand to Egypt, and to Assyria,
to get bread enough.
7 Our fathers sinned, and are no more;
and we bear their iniquities.
8 Slaves rule over us;
there is none to deliver us from their hand.
9 We get our bread at the peril of our lives,
because of the sword in the wilderness.
10 Our skin is hot as an oven
with the burning heat of famine.
11 Women are raped in Zion,
young women in the towns of Judah.
12 Princes are hung up by their hands;
no respect is shown to the elders.
13 Young men are compelled to grind at the mill,
and boys stagger under loads of wood.
14 The old men have left the city gate,
the young men their music.
15 The joy of our hearts has ceased;
our dancing has been turned to mourning.
16 The crown has fallen from our head;
woe to us, for we have sinned!
17 For this our heart has become sick,
for these things our eyes have grown dim,
18 for Mount Zion which lies desolate;
jackals prowl over it.
19 But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations.
20 Why do you forget us forever,
why do you forsake us for so many days?
21 Restore us to yourself, O Lord, that we may be restored!
Renew our days as of old—
22 unless you have utterly rejected us,
and you remain exceedingly angry with us.
Revelation 13
for today: (OCTOBER 5 (NN) ESV)
13 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. 3 One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. 4 And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”
5 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. 6 It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling,[a] that is, those who dwell in heaven. 7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them.[b] And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
10 If anyone is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes;
if anyone is to be slain with the sword,
with the sword must he be slain.
Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
The Second Beast
11 Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence,[c] and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. 13 It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14 and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of[d] the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,[e] to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.[f]

Please Remember:
“CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS
AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD!”
The Steps to Salvation:
> Repent: Repentance means that you are turning away from sin to turn to Christ. It does NOT mean that you will be perfect.
> Believe/Receive: Salvation is through Faith in Jesus and by the Grace of God. Believing means putting your Faith in Jesus and receiving forgiveness of sin.
>Walk in the Newness of Life: Jesus died so that we might live. We walk in the Newness of Life being Born Again by His Blood.
