If you don’t know CHRIST…

If you don’t know CHRIST the Wrath of God is over your head right now!

In the closing words of John chapter 3, we encounter one of the Bible’s most straightforward declarations about salvation:

The Living Bible brings it home with everyday clarity: Those who put their trust in God’s Son receive everlasting life, while those who refuse to believe and obey Him will never see heaven—the anger of God remains upon them.

John 3:36 ~ If You Don’t Believe In Jesus, The Wrath Of God Abideth You.

This verse stands as a dividing line:

On one side is simple, wholehearted trust in Jesus—the kind of trust a weary soldier places in his rescuer after battle.

On the other side is rejection, often masked as indifference or self-reliance.

Jesus, the One sent from Heaven, offers life freely. He is not a distant religious figure; He is the Living Savior Who bore our sins on the Cross so that wrath would not have the final word.

The TLB’s language cuts through religious fog. Eternal life is not earned by good behavior or church attendance. It is received by trusting Jesus to save us.

Belief here is more than mental agreement; it includes obedience—Repentance and surrendering our will to His loving authority.

Those who walk away from this offer do not merely miss a blessing; they remain under judgment that already rests on a fallen world. The wrath mentioned is not God’s sudden temper, but the natural consequence of rejecting the only remedy for sin.

For an 85-year-old Vietnam veteran like me, or for anyone carrying heavy burdens, this truth brings both comfort and urgency. I’ve seen death up close in the skies over Southeast Asia. I know life is brief. John 3:36 reminds us there are only two destinies: Life with Christ forever, or life without Him.

No third option exists!

Today the invitation remains open. If you have never trusted Jesus as your personal Savior, do it now. Tell Him you believe He died for your sins, rose again, and offers you new life. Repent and turn from anything that keeps you from full obedience.

For those already walking with Him, let this verse renew your gratitude and sharpen your witness. Share the good news with family, fellow veterans, neighbors, and the next generation.

Dear Lord, thank You for the clear promise of John 3:36. Help us trust Your Son completely and obey Him joyfully. Draw many to salvation today, we pray.

NEVER GET OVER WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR YOU!

THE PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH:

TO TEACH US TO LEAD OTHERS TO CHRIST!

Chapter 22 in Proverbs for today: (JUNE 22 (MT) (ESV)

22 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
    and favor is better than silver or gold.
²The rich and the poor meet together;
    the Lord is the Maker of them all.
³The prudent sees danger and hides himself,
    but the simple go on and suffer for it.
⁴The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
    is riches and honor and life.^[a]
⁵Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked;
    whoever guards his soul will keep far from them.
⁶Train up a child in the way he should go;
    even when he is old he will not depart from it.
⁷The rich rules over the poor,
    and the borrower is the slave of the lender.
⁸Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity,
    and the rod of his fury will fail.
⁹Whoever has a bountiful^[b] eye will be blessed,
    for he shares his bread with the poor.

Words of the Wise

¹⁷Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise,
    and apply your heart to my knowledge,
¹⁸for it will be pleasant if you keep them within you,
    if all of them are ready on your lips.
¹⁹That your trust may be in the Lord,
    I have made them known to you today, even to you.
²⁰Have I not written for you thirty sayings
    of counsel and knowledge,
²¹to make you know what is right and true,
    that you may give a true answer to those who sent you?

²²Do not rob the poor, because he is poor,
    or crush the afflicted at the gate,
²³for the Lord will plead their cause

29 Ah, Ariel, Ariel,
    the city where David encamped!
Add year to year;
    let the feasts run their round.
²Yet I will distress Ariel,
    and there shall be moaning and lamentation,
    and she shall be to me like an Ariel.^[a]
³And I will encamp against you all around,
    and will besiege you with towers
    and I will raise siegeworks against you.
⁴And you will be brought low; from the earth you shall speak,
    and from the dust your speech will be bowed down;
your voice shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost,
    and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

⁵But the multitude of your foreign foes shall be like small dust,
    and the multitude of the ruthless like passing chaff.
And in an instant, suddenly,
⁶    you will be visited by the Lord of hosts

    a spirit of deep sleep,
and has closed your eyes (the prophets),
    and covered your heads (the seers).

¹¹And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” ¹²And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.”

“Because this people draw near with their mouth
    and honor me with their lips,

Revelation 01

for today: (JUNE 22 (NN) ESV)

1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants^[a] the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, ²who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. ³Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Greeting to the Seven Churches

⁴John to the seven churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, ⁵and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood ⁶and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. ⁷Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail^[b] on account of him. Even so. Amen.

⁸“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Vision of the Son of Man

⁹I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. ¹⁰I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet ¹¹saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

¹²Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, ¹³and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. ¹⁴The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, ¹⁵his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. ¹⁶In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.

¹⁷When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, ¹⁸and the living one. The Steps to Salvation:

>Walk in the Newness of Life: Jesus died so that we might live. We walk in the Newness of Life being Born Again by His Blood.
