The Atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the Sinner’s Path to Heaven!

Central to Christian faith is the truth that Jesus Christ paid the full price for every sin of every human being through His suffering, death, and resurrection. This divine act of love opens the ONLY way to heaven for sinners.

Jesus, through God, “humbled Himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal’s death on a cross” (Philippians 2:8 TLB). He left Heaven’s glory for a humble Virgin birth by Mary in Bethlehem, faced betrayal by Judas, arrest, and unjust trials.

Soldiers scourged Him, mocked Him, crowned Him with thorns, and spat on Him.

Forced to carry His cross to Golgotha, He was nailed to it and hung for hours in agony. The physical torment was unbearable, yet the spiritual burden was greater: “He was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; He was lashed—and we were healed!” (Isaiah 53:5 TLB): This was Prophesied by Isaiah 700 years before it actually happened!

“He personally carried the load of our sins in His own body when He died on the cross” (1 Peter 2:24 TLB).

About three o’clock, on that Friday before the Celebration of the Passover, Jesus cried, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?”—“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46 TLB) and then Jesus said “It is Finished!” ( In Greek: “TETELESTAI”)

In that moment, the Father turned away as Jesus bore the guilt of every human’s sin. “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 TLB).

He was then buried in a borrowed tomb, God the Father, Breathed Life back into Him on the morning of the Third Day and His resurrection conquered death, completing the payment.

A sinner cannot earn Heaven by good works or religious effort.

Salvation is God’s free gift, received only by faith. “Because of His kindness, you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves; it too is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it” (Ephesians 2:8-9 TLB).

Jesus said, “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 TLB).

The Bible answers clearly: “Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31 TLB). “For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 TLB).

Thus, the sinner must repent, confess Jesus as Lord, and trust His finished work alone. This simple act of faith grants forgiveness and eternal life in heaven.

You can be saved right this minute if you will just lift up this simple Prayer to God the Father:

“Father God I confess that I am a sinner, I hereby Repent of all of the sins I have ever committed and ask Your precious Son Jesus Christ to come into my heart, take control of my life, Forgive me for ALL of my sins in Jesus’ Name and help me to never sin again, in Jesus’ Name, Amen’

If you really meant that Prayer you have been Born Again enabling the Holy Spirit, the Third Part of the Trinity of: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to enter your Soul, Reserve your Place in Heaven and Write your name in the Lamb’s Book of life, a requirement for getting into Heaven. (Rev 20:15).

How to be “Born Again”

John 3:16 makes it pretty clear: You have to Believe on Jesus Christ and you will be saved! No matter who you are! No matter what you have done wrong in your life, KNOW THAT GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT LOVES YOU!

To “Believe” upon Jesus means that:

1.) You Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the Cross at Calvary as payment for ALL of your sins, was buried in a borrowed tomb and Arose from the dead on the 3rd Day we call Easter and accept Him as your Personal Savior by Faith;

2. You Repent of your sinful ways (Breaking God’s Laws in the 10 Commandments:

a.) Worship only God,

b.) Have no other gods before Him,

c.) Don’t use His Name in vain,

d.) Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy,

e.) Honor your Parents,

f.) Don’t kill anyone,

g.) Don’t commit adultery,

h.) Don’t Steal,

i.) Don’t lie about other people or yourself &

j.) Don’t Covet anything that is your neighbors) and try to stop sinning;

3.) You give complete control of your life to Jesus Christ!

Doing these 3 things, you will be “Born Again” Spiritually and the Holy Spirit will enter your Soul, SEAL your position PERMANENTLY in Heaven and WRITE YOUR NAME IN THE “LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE!” Again: See Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 15 to see why that is CRITICALLY important:

“Revelation 20:15 – And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire”
