God is an Infinitely Wonderful Being!
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; His greatness is beyond discovery! (Psalm 145:3 TLB).
This profound declaration captures the heart of our faith: God is an infinitely wonderful Being whose majesty, wisdom, power, and love surpass all human comprehension.
As a Vietnam veteran and lifelong student of Scripture, I stand in awe that the same God who thundered through the skies for David now invites us into intimate fellowship through His Son, Jesus Christ.
From the vastness of creation to the depths of redemption, God’s infinite wonder unfolds. The heavens declare His glory; the skies proclaim the work of His hands (Psalm 19:1 TLB). He stretches out the starry curtain of the heavens, hollows out the seas, and rides upon the wings of the wind (Psalm 104:1-3 TLB).
Job marveled: “These are some of the minor things He does, merely a whisper of His power. Who then can withstand His thunder?” (Job 26:14 TLB).
Yet this same infinite God stoops low in Mercy and more importantly: Grace. He is kind and merciful, slow to get angry, full of love (Psalm 145:8 TLB). His compassion intertwines with everything He does.
The pinnacle of God’s wonder is revealed at the Cross. The infinitely holy One became flesh, bearing our sins so that we might become infinitely loved. In Christ, the unsearchable riches of God’s grace become ours (Ephesians 3:8). No wonder the psalmist cries, “Who else is like the Lord among the gods? Who is so awesome in splendor, a wonder-working God?” (Exodus 15:11 TLB).
This truth transforms daily life. When burdens weigh heavy, remember the God whose greatness is unsearchable lifts the fallen and satisfies every need (Psalm 145:14, 16 TLB). In seasons of doubt or trial, meditate on His majesty. Let each generation tell its children of His glorious deeds (Psalm 145:4 TLB). As one who has witnessed earthly battles and spiritual victories, I testify: knowing God as infinitely wonderful fills the heart with unshakeable peace and purpose.
Dear friend, turn to this wonderful Being today. Repent, believe in the finished work of Jesus, and experience the joy of His presence. Praise Him forever, for He alone is worthy. His kingdom never ends, and His loving-kindness continues forever (Psalm 136 TLB).
May this reality ignite fresh worship in your soul. Great is our God—infinitely wonderful, eternally worthy!

Let us Praise Him Daily!
A good way to learn to Praise God is to memorize the first 6 Verses of Psalms 148:
1 Praise the Lord, O heavens! Praise Him from the skies!
2 Praise Him, all His angels, all the armies of heaven.
3 Praise Him, sun and moon and all you twinkling stars.
4 Praise Him, skies above. Praise Him, vapors high above the clouds.
5 Let everything He has made give praise to Him. For He issued His command, and they came into being;
6 He established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked.
PLEASE read the last 6 Chapters of Psalms: 145-150 so that you will learn how to Praise God like David did!

YOU WERE BORN ON THE WRONG SIDE, BUT BY ACCEPTING JESUS
YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE NOW,
YOU ARE BEYOND REPROACH,
JESUS WAS THE SOLUTION BEFORE YOU HAD A SIN PROBLEM,
NEVER GET OVER WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR YOU!
NOW:
THE PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH:
TO TEACH US TO LEAD OTHERS TO CHRIST!

20 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler,
and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.[a]
2 The terror of a king is like the growling of a lion;
whoever provokes him to anger forfeits his life.
3 It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife,
but every fool will be quarreling.
4 The sluggard does not plow in the autumn;
he will seek at harvest and have nothing.
5 The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water,
but a man of understanding will draw it out.
6 Many a man proclaims his own steadfast love,
but a faithful man who can find?
7 The righteous who walks in his integrity—
blessed are his children after him!
8 A king who sits on the throne of judgment
winnows all evil with his eyes.
9 Who can say, “I have made my heart pure;
I am clean from my sin”?
10 Unequal[b] weights and unequal measures
are both alike an abomination to the Lord.
11 Even a child makes himself known by his acts,
by whether his conduct is pure and upright.[c]
12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
the Lord has made them both.
13 Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty;
open your eyes, and you will have plenty of bread.
14 “Bad, bad,” says the buyer,
but when he goes away, then he boasts.
15 There is gold and abundance of costly stones,
but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
16 Take a man’s garment when he has put up security for a stranger,
and hold it in pledge when he puts up security for foreigners.[d]
17 Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man,
but afterward his mouth will be full of gravel.
18 Plans are established by counsel;
by wise guidance wage war.
19 Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets;
therefore do not associate with a simple babbler.[e]
20 If one curses his father or his mother,
his lamp will be put out in utter darkness.
21 An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning
will not be blessed in the end.
22 Do not say, “I will repay evil”;
wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you.
23 Unequal weights are an abomination to the Lord,
and false scales are not good.
24 A man’s steps are from the Lord;
how then can man understand his way?
25 It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,”
and to reflect only after making vows.
26 A wise king winnows the wicked
and drives the wheel over them.
27 The spirit[f] of man is the lamp of the Lord,
searching all his innermost parts.
28 Steadfast love and faithfulness preserve the king,
and by steadfast love his throne is upheld.
29 The glory of young men is their strength,
but the splendor of old men is their gray hair.
30 Blows that wound cleanse away evil;
strokes make clean the innermost parts.

10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
12 “For you shall go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and the hills before you
shall break forth into singing,
and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress;
instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle;
and it shall make a name for the Lord,
an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”
Revelation 06
for today: (JULY 20 (NN) ESV)
6 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart[a] of wheat for a denarius,[b] and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers[c] should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
12 When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. 14 The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave[d] and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, 16 calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 17 for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
